Wednesday March 7th 1-4pm, Cowley Road Methodist Church (corner of Cowley Rd and Jeune St)
"Come and celebrate women and human rights" Part of Oxford International Women's Festival, this event is organised by Amnesty and Refugee Resource. Stalls, workshops and information. We will be hosting a stall, and catalysing some singing between 2 and 4pm - drop by and join in!

Joint Fundraising event with other community choirs, raising funds for Cruse Bereavement Care. Sun 20th November. A good time had by all teaching and learning songs, and £500 raised for Cruse!
Sunday 2nd Oct 1pm Informal singing at Warneford Meadow Apple Day. We sang and taught some very simple apple and harvest related rounds and songs. Info about Warneford Meadow here
Headington Festival Bury Knowle Park, June 5. Singing in the rain (something we are becoming expert at). Participatory sessions teaching our songs to others.
Saturday March 26: Community Choirs festival 2011 in Stratford on Avon. A small but perfectly formed delegation joined with other community choirs to learn songs as a massed choir and entertain eachother in a concert. Click here for video of us.
Wednesday March 9 Celebration of International Women’s Day 2011 with local campaigners and community groups including Refugee Resource, Amnesty International, Somali, African, Swahili and Arab groups, Sudan Women’s Group, BK.LUWO Women’s Sewing Group, World Wide Women Group and more! Singing workshop 3-4pm (women only) with general sharing (all welcome) 4-5pm.
Saturday 5 Feb 2-4pm "Sing for Water" Joint Fundraising event with three other community choirs - Sounds Fun, Oxford City Singers and Seagreen Singers. Each group shared and taught a song to everyone present. All welcome, even if you do not attend one of the groups. At Friends Meeting House, 43 St Giles OX1 3LW.
Friday Dec 17 evening Singing at Pegasus Theatre, Providing background seasonal singing in the cafe/bar upstairs after their Christmas show.

COMMUNITY CHOIRS FESTIVAL March 20, 2010
Twenty Joined up Singers attended this gathering of community choirs in Stratford. We learned songs as part of a massed choir of over 600 people, and took part in a concert where 25 choirs each performed one song each. Photos from the day will appear on the website at some point: click here

Monday 25 January 2010, 7-9.30pm Joined up Singing's 4th BIRTHDAY PARTY! past and present members gathered to celebrate with songs, food, photos.....(see photos on Monday evenings page)
Monday 18 January 1-1 .40pm St Michael at the Northgate (St Michael's St, City Centre). Some of us took part in an improvised choir workshop and performance in November, creating a "feral choir". There's an improvisation concert which will have short "feral choir" contributions; this is part of a series of lunchtime concerts at St Michael's. Click here for link to Oxford Improvisers.
